Jadeite, Millefiori Glass and Sterling Silver Earrings 'White Millefiori & Bordeaux'

Earrings crafted from sterling silver, glass and natural stones. Millefiori glass is a traditional Italian glassmaking technique whose name means "a thousand flowers".

The transparent millefiori glass beads contain tiny flowers in shades of white and red. Each bead is handmade and therefore slightly different, with unique arrangements of the floral motifs inside. In some areas the red centres soften and blend subtly, giving the flowers a delicate pink tint.

The floral colours are complemented by smaller faceted jadeite beads in a deep cherry-bordeaux shade. The cool tones are enhanced by a decorative brass collar patinated to a rich dark brown.
